With over 1.6 million visitors welcomed since its opening in March 2014, the Bastogne War Museum has become a major cultural and tourist site in Belgium and at the European level. It is a true living place that offers a shop, themed bistro (Le Bistrot de la Paix), terrace, as well as numerous activities and events.
In July 2022, an extension of 2500 m² including a new visitor experience, event rooms, classrooms, storage, offices, and a new reception area was inaugurated. In February 2024, a new memorial site opened its doors within the former military barracks of Bastogne, the Bastogne War Rooms.
The place
Profile
We are looking for someone motivated, dynamic, courageous, punctual, conscientious, and autonomous to perform various cleaning tasks at the Bastogne War Museum: cleaning floors, surfaces, windows, and restrooms.
A professional experience in this sector is an asset.
Driver's license: not strictly necessary as long as you can get to work by your own means for the scheduled services.
APE status required.
Working conditions
A fixed-term contract (CDD) that can lead to a permanent contract (CDI) if everyone is satisfied. Work within a respectful and dynamic team in a pleasant and renowned work environment.
Part-time of 19h/week starting in September 2026.
Schedule :
- Week 1: Monday (6am-11am), Tuesday (6am-11am), Friday (6am-10am), Saturday (6am-10am).
- Week 2: Monday (6am-10am), Tuesday (6am-10am), Wednesday (6am-10am), Thursday (6am-10am), Sunday (6am-10am).
Slight schedule adjustments are possible.
